Karaoke

Had an awesome time yesterday at Lily O'Brien's birthday party!! We went to Karaoke at the funny little Planet Rose. Had a good time with my pal Mindee & heart-to-heart with old choirboy buddy Jamie Treadwell.

I sang "I'll Make Love to You" - a good old stand by - there was also some "Whatta Man" "You Oughtta Know" "Total Eclipse of the Heart" - classics!!

Lol those couches !!!

Aabaraki

Went to meet Lily O'Brien (who's doing PR for me) at Bar Four tonight in Brooklyn to see:

Aabaraki - an R&B band, who was awesome! Very neo-soul - reminded me at times of N.E.R.D. songs. They did a cover of "Everybody wants to Rule the World" !!

Apollo Run

I saw Apollo Run tonight at Union Hall in BK.

They are an awesome band that Lily O'Brien (PR) works with.

She invited me out to the show,

though I ended up seeing some friends from work there.

The band is like Queen meets Jeff Buckley.

3 part harmonies, sickly talented musicians.

Lead singer plays keyboard, guitar, and trumpet.

He came out in one song and lay on the floor and had some of the audience do the same,

calling it stargazing. HAHA.

Great show :-)
