I had a blast tonight (last night) at Union Hall in Brooklyn.
This show came together last minute, booked by Berklee friend/classmate Andrea Setaro.
I had so much fun playing with Carras Paton, Evgeny Lebedev (who both played at my release party) as well as Adam Root and Nick D'Agostino (who played for me before, but it's been awhile for both of them).
We had a quick rehearsal this afternoon and then headed over to the venue.
Union Hall is so freakin' cool. It's stately, lots of brown and earth-tones, floor-to-ceiling bookcases, a bocci ball court (what?), and a music venue in the basement. I was pleased with the turnout, the music sounded great, sold some CD's, met a lot of new people, and then had a really good time afterward hanging out with friends. Was sitting by the window for awhile with Nick, my friend Steve Hannigan (who has now been to three of my shows woop woop), Andrea, and Adam Tressler (an amazing guitarist from Berklee).
So grateful, and glad that I said yes to a last minute show despite my fears. It was totally worth it!
